rest of the Box are on the way! Because of the steadily increasing
size of this page, we've organized it into sections. By clicking

| The
following list of links is the brain child of a friend who is a fellow
member with me of the National Organization
for Albinism and Hypopigmentation (NOAH). Acting on an idea of his,
I have assembled the following links as a resource for anyone interested
in learning more about Human Rights discrimination in general, and the
Americans with Disabilities Act in particular. I hope that you will find
something of benefit here; if not, do a Web search for ADA. There’s tons
of stuff on it! Happy hunting!
ADA Home Page - Access by Design – This "One-Stop Disability Web Site" has News, a Journal, and a Bulletin Board, among other things, to help people make use of ADA in practical ways. Human Resources Law Index – If it has anything at all to do with Human Rights, you can probably find it here. ADA is the first link listed. Americans with Disabilities Act Information on the Web – This is a links page with tons of information about ADA, including a link to the entire text of the law. The first link on this page is to the Department of Justice Americans with Disabilities Act Home Page. The CEO Group Ltd. – This site has more helpful information and links about ADA. National Senior Citizens Law Center – This site deals with legal help for Senior Citizens in regards to such things as Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, and other such things. They also deal with lawsuits involving ADA. I went to this site’s home page to place the link, but if you’re interested in anything to do with their involvement with ADA, click on Substantive Areas, then click on Links. Kids Together, Inc. – More ADA links. Ability – This site is an awesome links page that features legal information from a family-oriented point of view. You can get to information from there about ADA and a whole host of other things. There is a Board there for people with disabilities. You can even entertain yourself while you are there by clicking on one of the Jukeboxes! |

| Now,
THESE Links are some I've checked out and liked enough to bookmark for
a possible return trip someday. I've tried to arrange them into sections
by type, but that's "type" as I define it. At any rate, this page will
continue to grow as I find useful and interesting stuff to put on it for
you, so check back frequently. "New" links, those I find between
page updates, are indicated with a |
| Assorted Freeware - All sorts of free stuff. Much of it is excellent! If you're looking for it, these sites will probably have it. Stuff for Christians, too. |
| Christian Resources - These links connect you with Bibles, Study resources, Ministry Pages, and other things to enhance and enrich your Christian experience. I haven't explored all of these as thoroughly as perhaps I should, but if I find any that I think are questionable, I will remove them. |
| Clipart,
Gifs, and Graphics - These sites are a must-visit for those who are
interested in creating and/or improving the look of their web sites.
CAUTION: Stuff on these pages is copywrighted, and it costs more
to own your site than if you use the space provided by your ISP, so do
the creators a favor and observe the following:
1. DO NOT link to their graphics. Save them to your own computer. 2. DO NOT redo the images and claim them as your own. 3. If you use the images on your non-commercial pages, give the creators their propers by putting a link to them on your site. If your pages are commercial, TALK TO THE CREATORS FIRST!!! I have borrowed graphics for desktop use (and some have ended up in The Alabaster Box) from at least half of these pages, which is why they are listed here. |
| Educational Aids and Enhancements - Here are all kinds of things to help you learn more about all kinds of things. |
| Kidsville - Links to sites about youthful delights. All the young at heart are welcome, too! |
| Miscellaneous - Stuff that goes nowhere else! |
| People
Like Me - No,
No, NO!!! 1. We do NOT have pink eyes.
2. We do NOT conduct static electricity through our bodies. 3. We do NOT come bringing a curse or because of one. 4. We do NOT have a disease. 5. We do NOT make it our business to perpetrate and spread evil. We are some of the toughest, smartest, nicest, and altogether coolest people God ever made. These sites were created by and/or about us. Now see who we really are! |
| Search Engines and Megasites - Some I've tried and like. A few of the links here are actually large pages that act like search engines. Some Christian ones, too! |
| Sound Bytes - Music is called the universal language, and you'll be delighted to find that we speak it fluently here--and we're learning new "dialects" all the time. If you can hear it, we'll put it here as fast as we find it. All the links from the "Wind, Water, Fire, wine, Oil" section are here. |
| Under the Yum-Yum Tree - Food, Glorious Food! If Oliver wants some more, he's welcome to come here anytime. |
